License model for data

When reviewing the current practice in terms of license models, ITS.be was most impressed by the UK Open Government License

The equivalent of this in the Flemish Region is the "Gratis open data licentie". Common license models for the Flemish Region can be found here. The license model advocated by the Brussels Region is also equivalent to this and can be found here.

We did not find any license models for the Walloon Region, although we note that some mobility datasets on the Walloon open data portal are published under a Creative Commons Zero license. The same is true for mobility datasets on the federal open data platform. The Creative Commons  Zero license is also one of the models used in Flanders.
